Terms of Service

Lixeam is published by Lixeam ("Licensor").

All payments are processed by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record, which collects and remits global taxes. Paddle is the legal seller of record; these Terms grant a usage license and transfer no intellectual property.

A personal license (Early Bird / Standard / Monthly) lets you install Lixeam on up to 2 Macs that you personally use; a Team license covers up to 12 devices.

The exact seat count is the one shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase. The license is non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-distributable; you may not lend the license key to others, redistribute the software, or mirror it publicly.

On first launch you get a 14-day full-feature trial, no credit card required. After the trial expires, adding sites and enabling proxies is locked; rules you have already configured keep forwarding. Activating a license restores all features.

On activation the licensing service signs an offline token with a fixed validity (365 days for one-time purchases, 14 days for monthly subscriptions). After the token expires a 3-day offline grace window keeps features unlocked. If you fail to re-validate online past the grace window, core actions lock.

The core source code of the software is open source on GitHub; the signed and notarised production build is the paid license. These Terms grant a usage license and transfer no intellectual property.

You may not: (1) reverse-engineer the software to bypass license verification; (2) use one license key on more concurrent machines than your tier permits; (3) use the software for illegal purposes or install it on devices you do not control without authorisation.

The software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Licensor shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from use of or inability to use the software.

You may stop using the software at any time. A refund immediately terminates the license, revokes the offline token, and returns the software to trial state. The Licensor may revoke a license in case of a serious breach of these Terms.

The Licensor may update these Terms at any time; material changes will be announced in-app or on the website. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the update.
